Tast’effect is a range of plant extracts selected and created for their impact on taste perception. Unlike food flavourings, which often only act on the smell and aroma of the final foodstuff, Tast’effect goes beyond this by considering a fundamental dimension of taste: lingual and trigeminal sensations.

Tast’effect represents a natural alternative to additives and undesirable ingredients, facilitating clean labelling. Our range offers a range of options to provide a complete and natural sensory experience. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, from food flavourings to savoury dishes, desserts, dairy products and drinks.

Tast’Effect products are halal, kosher and vegan extracts, available in organic and conventional versions.

Anti'ox by nature: rosemary extract

In addition to its aromatic properties, rosemary extract is widely used as an antioxidant in many food applications (meats, fats & oils, sauces). Its antioxidant activity is mainly linked to 2 compounds: carnosic acid and carnosol.

Plantex offers different concentrations of carnosic acid, extracted with ethanol, and has liquid and powder versions to suit your product. Our extracts are also available in organic versions.

Our vanilla extracts are manufactured in France, where we can adapt the concentration, carrier and solubility to the specific needs of our customers. We offer various forms of vanilla (grains, powder) as well as certified organic, kosher and halal extracts. Our vanilla extracts are used in a wide range of applications, from ice cream and dairy products to bakery, pastry, confectionery and chocolate, as well as in beverages and vanilla flavours.

Flav’Oak liquid wood extracts are the result of our expertise in extraction and concentration processes, and retain all the aromatic character of the warm notes developed by toasted oak wood. The Flav’oak range comprises 5 products with very specific aromatic profiles based on warm woody notes of vanilla, coffee, cocoa, toasted notes and butterscotch.

The Flav’oak range of extracts enables R&D departments in the food industry to enhance and intensify the flavour profile of their products (sauces, snacks, bakery products) with warm, woody notes while maintaining a 100% Clean Label. Flav’Oak is in line with the underlying trend that is driving food manufacturers towards plant-based and natural ingredients.
